- This certification allows Trina Solar laboratories to independently test for and issue UL recognized data, affirming that testing staff expertise, standards and capabilities are of the highest caliber in the PV industry

Warranty

Our Limited Manufacturer's Warranty for Trina Solar modules guarantees materials and workmanship for 10 years and power for 25 years on a linear degradation schedule.

Multicrystalline Products
Guaranteed power warranted at 97.5% of nameplate power in year one and 0.7% less each year thereafter, ending with 80.7% of nameplate power guaranteed in the 25th year after the warranty start date

Monocrystalline Products
Guaranteed power warranted at 96.5% of nameplate power in year one and 0.68% less each year thereafter, ending with 80.18% of nameplate power guaranteed in the 25th year after the warranty start date

Insurance

In addition to our comprehensive warranty terms, Trina Solar has purchased product warranty insurance to "back-stop" our product warranty. Customers who choose this warranty insurance will enjoy a global, irrevocable and immediate insurance-backed warranty, which provides third-party rights to the insurance in case of insolvency or bankruptcy.
