Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Gao established Trina Solar in December 1997.Mr. Gao also serves as the President of the China Photovoltaic Industry Association ("CPIA") and the Co-Chairman of the Global Solar Council. He is also the Vice President of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) and the founding member of the Private Sector Advisory Board for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Mr. Gao received his master’s degree in physical chemistry from Jilin University in 1988 and his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Nanjing University in 1985.

Board Director, Chief Operating Officer and President of Module Business Unit (MBU)

Mr. Zhiguo Zhu has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors (“Board”) and as Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) of the Company in January 2015. Since joining the Company in 2011, Mr. Zhu has been integral to Trina Solar’s growth as senior vice president of the Company and president of the MBU. Prior to joining Trina Solar, Mr. Zhu served as the global finance operations controller, internal controller, audit director and CFO of the Air-Conditioner Group at Haier Group He also served as the China Regional CFO and Vice President of Lucent Technologies in Qingdao. Prior to which, Mr. Zhu served as the financial controller and acting general manager at HowdenHua Engineering Company. Mr. Zhu received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in engineering from Tsinghua University, a Master’s of Science degree from the University of Shanghai Science and Technology, a Certificate of Postgraduate Studies from Cambridge University and a Master’s of Business Administration from Imperial College London.

Vice President, Interim Chief Financial Officer, Strategy Assistant to CEO

Ms. Xu was appointed Trina Solar interim Chief Financial Officer in July 2016. She joined the Company in 2006 and has served in a number of important roles, including Finance Director, Vice President of Finance, Head of CEO Office, and Vice President and Strategy Assistant to the CEO. She has been part of Trina Solar's core management team for years and has participated in the Company's recent key development initiatives.

Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer

Ms. Stephanie Yang Shao joined Trina Solar as Chief Human Resources Officer in September, 2010. Prior to joining Trina, she worked in multiple Fortune 500 companies in the US, including Colgate Palmolive, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Dun Bradstreet in roles of increasing responsibility in the areas of HR, Marketing and Business Development. Ms. Shao holds a B.S. in Psychology from Beijing University, an M.S. in Management Psychology from Chinese Academy of Science and a Ph.D in Social & Organizational Psychology from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.

Vice President and Head of China PV System Business Unit ( China SBU)

Mr. Jiqing Gao, Company vice president, was appointed as the head of the China PV System Business Unit of Trina Solar in December, 2015. Prior to that, he served as vice president of the PV System Business Unit from October 2013 and vice president of China and Asia Pacific (excluding China), Middle East and Africa PV System Business Unit from November 2012 to September 2013. Mr. Gao has extensive experience across various departments of the company, including production quality management, operations, and research and development. In 1990, Mr. Gao received his bachelor’s degree from Jilin University.

Assistant Vice President, Regional Head of the Module Business Unit (MBU) of Europe and Africa

Mr. Yin joined Trina Solar in 2009 and was nominated as Director of Global Commercial Operations in 2012, and appointed as Assistant Vice President and Global Head of Commercial Operations in April, 2015. In October, 2015, Mr. Yin was appointed as Regional Head of the Module Business Unit (MBU) of Europe and Africa. Before joining Trina Solar, Mr. Yin served in senior positions at Flextronics as well as Invensys Asia Pacific for a total of eight years.

Vice President and President of Strategy Development & Solution Business Unit(SDS BU)

Mr. Lou joined Trina Solar as Vice President and President of Strategy Development & Solution Business Unit(SDS BU) in December , 2015. Prior to joining Trina, he was the Executive President in Hanergy Global Solar Application Group. With sixteen-year’s working experience, Mr. Lou had severed in several public companies in senior management positions. He has insightful understanding and knowledge in the fields of renewable energy, telecommunications, and environmental protection industry. Mr. Lou has Bachelor’s degree from HuNan Industry University and Master’s degree in Business Administration from JiangXi University of Science and Technology.

Director, Regional Head of System Business Unit (SBU) in EMEA and Latin America

Mr. Esteban joined Trina Solar in February, 2013 as Director of EU Business Development and was named Director of EU System Business in the same year. In October, 2015, Mr. Esteban was appointed as Regional Head of SBU in EMEA and Latin America. Prior to joining Trina Solar, Mr. Esteban served 12 years at BP solar.

Vice President and President of Americas Region

Mr. Dorety brings rich management experience to the position, including eight years in the PV industry. Most recently he served as vice president of sales for JA Solar USA, where he was responsible for customer relations, sales, business development and operations for PV modules and cells in North America. Previously, he was global director of sales for BP Solar, in which he was responsible for worldwide module distribution. Mr. Dorety has also worked as director of sales for commercial projects with engineering, procurement and construction ("EPC") developer, groSolar. Before entering the PV business, Mr. Dorety held a number of senior leadership positions in companies engaged in the telecommunications equipment and mobile wireless industries, such as Lucent Technologies, T-Mobile and AT&T. Mr. Dorety received his BS degree in management from Clemson University.
