Trina Solar Receives Exposure on BBC Top Gear
Last Sunday, on March 11th, the Trina Solar logo on the newest Lotus F1 car received prominent visibility on the BBC show Top Gear as driver Kimi Räikkönen was interviewed by host Jeremy Clarkson.
Within the UK, Top Gear reaches over 5 million people per program and receives an additional 350 million views per week worldwide, and an estimated additional 300,000 people through online downloads. One of the most popular shows on television, Top Gear is currently on its 18th season.
This is only one of many public appearances for the Trina-sponsored team. Starting next week and running through August, British network Sky TV will feature the Lotus F1 Team alongside the Red Bull, Force India and Sauber teams to promote their new F1 channel. The Team´s livery is also set to appear on black taxis in London and city buses in Hungary over the next few months.
The 2012 F1 season begins this Sunday, March 18 in Australia.
