Juli 2015 - Trina Solar Limited (TSL), ein weltweit führender Hersteller von PV-Modulen, -Lösungen und -Services, gibt bekannt, dass seine multikristallinen Module TSM-PE05A und TS-PE14A von den Prüfern der Underwriters Laboratories® (UL) eine UL 1500V Zertifizierung erhalten haben. Bei der UL handelt es sich um eine weltweit agierende, unabhängige Organisation, die Produkte hinsichtlich ihrer Sicherheit untersucht und zertifiziert.
Die Verleihung der UL1500V Zertifizierung bestätigt, dass die Trina Solar Module in PV-Anlagen mit einer maximalen Systemspannung von bis zu 1500V eingesetzt werden dürfen. Dies ist deutlich mehr, als die für die meisten anderen auf dem Markt befindlichen Module zugelassene Spannung von 1000V. Darüber hinaus zeigt die 1500V-Zertifizierung, dass die von Trina Solar hergestellten Module höhere technische Standards und Qualitätsanforderungen erfüllen. Die für höhere Systemspannung ausgelegten Module erlauben es den Kunden, ihre PV-Anlagen mit größerer String-Länge zu entwerfen. Dies reduziert die Anzahl der BOS (Balance of System) Komponenten und verringert die spezifischen BoS kosten (€/W). Weiter wird die Systemleistung gesteigert durch Verringerung der Systemverluste.
