Trinasolar has topped the Global Perovskite Solar Cell Invention Patent Ranking published by IPRdaily, with 481 patent applications. Trinasolar also ranked second in both the global solar cell and module patent ranking and the TOPCon solar cell patent ranking. IPRdaily is a media agency specializes in intellectual property and integrated information services and has published three major rankings: the Top 50 Global Solar Cell and Module Invention Patent Ranking, the Top 30 Global Perovskite Solar Cell Invention Patent Ranking and the Top 30 Global TOPCon Solar Cell Invention Patent Ranking.

Trinasolar delivers 1.3GW Vertex N modules for a solar-storage plant in desert region

A 1.3 GW solar-storage power station in northwestern China has been connected to the grid. The plant, using Trinasolar’s Vertex N modules with high power output and reliability, is expected to generate 2.1 billion kWh of clean electricity a year, saving 620,000 tons of standard coal and reducing CO2 emissions by 1.61 million tons. This milestone once again underscores Trinasolar’s efforts to advance sustainability and accelerate global energy transition.

Trinasolar Develops World’s First 800W+ Tandem Module, Ushering in a New Era

Trinasolar, a global leader in smart PV and energy storage solutions, has announced that it has developed the world’s first industrial-standard solar PV module delivering over 800W of maximum power. The 3.1m2 module, produced with 210mm x 105mm perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells, has achieved peak power output of 808W, certified by the global testing, inspection, and certifying body TÜV SÜD.

5.6MW C&I PV Power Plant Project

Trinasolar has partnered with Bright Moon Seaweed Group and Kyushu Huide to build a 5.6MW C&I photovoltaic rooftop power plant. After the project is connected to the grid, it will reduce emissions of about 3,600 tons of carbon dioxide, 9 tons of nitrogen oxides and 3 tons of sulfur dioxide every year, which is equivalent to planting millions of trees.
