Trina Storage has completed the construction of the 50MW/100MWh Strübbel BESS project in Northern Germany. Developed by Aquila Clean Energy and constructed by H&MV, this utility-scale facility is powered by Trina Storage’s advanced Elementa liquid-cooled BESS solution. Located in one of Europe’s premier wind power regions, the project is currently undergoing commissioning and will provide vital grid balancing, frequency regulation, and flexible renewable integration services—storing excess wind and solar energy to discharge during peak demand and significantly enhancing the stability of the German energy grid.
