Trinasolar has announced that its cumulative shipments of 210mm modules have surpassed 170GW. Since it launched the industry’s first 210mm module in 2020, total shipments of 210mm modules in the industry had reached 380GW by December. Both the shipment volume and growth rate of 210mm modules have set new industry records.

Recently, Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) released its 2025 Q1 Global Tier 1 Energy Storage Manufacturer List (BNEF Energy Storage Tier 1 List Q1 2025). FREMONT, Calif., February 4, 2025 – Trinasolar US, a global leader in the solar manufacturing industry, successfully showcased its new white paper TrinaPro Agrivoltaic Solutions: A Cost-Effective Solar and Storage Solution for Agricultural Operations at the 2025 International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE) in Atlanta, Georgia. IPPE is the world’s largest annual display of technology, equipment, supplies, and services used in egg, meat, and poultry production and processing, attended by over 30,000 industry professionals with more than 1,300 exhibitors.

FREMONT, Calif., January 23, 2024 – Trinasolar US, a global leader in the solar manufacturing industry, partnered with the Couillard Solar Foundation (CSF) to donate more than 1,200 high-performance PERC solar modules, totaling 479 kW of clean energy capacity. Trinasolar, in collaboration with industry partners, hosted a site visit to a landmark agrivoltaics and aquavoltaic project. This 150MW installation combines aquaculture with solar power, utilizing Trinasolar’s 210 high-efficiency Vertex series modules. The project, completed in two phases, is supported by Trina Storage’s energy storage solutions, including a 27MW/54MWh liquid-cooled battery energy storage system (BESS), Trina Storage Elementa, in Phase II. Leveraging Trinasolar’s vertically integrated solutions—ranging from modules to energy storage and from battery cells to the AC side—the project exemplifies advanced solar-storage integration and intelligent power distribution, setting a new benchmark for the industry.

Trinasolar has announced its high-efficiency n-type solar total passivation (TOPAS) heterojunction (HJT) PV modules have achieved an aperture module efficiency of 25.44%, setting a world record for large-area HJT PV modules. The photovoltaic calibration laboratory independently confirms this at the Fraunhofer ISE (CalLab) in Freiburg, Germany. The reported module sets a record for PV modules based on crystalline silicon solar cells with front and back contact structures, which also sets a world record for module efficiency for a silicon module.
