Zero-Carbon Operations
To achieve carbon neutrality, we have established targets for:
  • •carbon intensity
  • •renewable energy use
  • •energy conservation
  • •PV power plant development
  • •rooftop PV power plants
Zero-Carbon Value Chain
We promote a zero-carbon transition across our value chain by advancing greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory systems and product carbon footprint certification.
Zero-Carbon Products
We continuously expand carbon footprint accounting and certification to drive product-level emission reductions.
Climate Risk Management

Climate Metrics Management

Trinasolar strengthens carbon accounting and carbon footprint tracking management by:
  • Setting GHG emissions intensity targets
  • Closely monitoring climate-related performance indicators
  • Revising our GHG Data and Quality Management Procedures based on ISO 14064-1:2018 standards
  • Securing GHG emissions data verification statements from the British Standards Institution (BSI)
  • Purchasing 1,420 tons of carbon credits in 2024
  • Offsetting 112,771 MWh of emissions through green certificates in 2024
First "Dual Zero" Factory Certification in the Industry
Trinasolar is the first photovoltaic enterprise to obtain TÜV Rheinland’s “Dual Zero” certification, with our Yancheng Dafeng Factory earning both “Zero Waste” and “Zero Carbon” (Type I, three-star) certifications for strong performance in environmental management, energy conservation, and waste treatment.
TrinaTracker Factory Wins Carbon Footprint Certification
Bureau Veritas awarded the carbon footprint certification to TrinaTracker's manufacturing plant in Viana, Spain, setting a new benchmark in the global renewable energy sector. A 2022 carbon emissions assessment based on the GHG Protocol showed that the plant reduced emissions by 54.7% year-over-year, with verified reporting of Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon emissions.
EU Group Names Trinasolar Decarbonization Leader
The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China recognized Trinasolar as a Decarbonization Leader for our achievements in low-carbon transition and climate change mitigation.
Verified Low Carbon Performance
Trinasolar’s solar modules are certified for full lifecycle environmental transparency and low-carbon performance, with:
  • Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certifications from UL Solutions and EPDItaly for Vertex and Vertex N modules
  • carbon footprint certification for the entire Vertex N portfolio
