Global Cases
AstraZeneca Solar Car Park, New South Wales
At AstraZeneca’s Macquarie Park manufacturing site, a 617 kW solar carport with 1,092 Trinasolar modules now generates about 911 MWh of clean energy annually, covering 16% of the facility’s electricity use. Completed in just six months, the carport supports AstraZeneca’s Ambition Zero Carbon programme to cut scope 1 and 2 emissions by 98% by 2025.
Residential Project, Sydney
This 6.6 kW rooftop solar project with all-black Trinasolar modules was installed on a single-storey home in Sydney. Despite limited roof space, the system delivers strong energy performance and significantly reduces electricity bills, demonstrating that high power generation and aesthetics can coexist.
Kohirā Solar Farm, New Zealand
Located in Kaitāia, New Zealand, this solar farm features 61,000 Trinasolar Vertex N bifacial solar modules mounted on TrinaTracker Vanguard 2P solar tracking systems. Spanning 64 hectares, this 33 MW utility-scale solar installation demonstrates how solar farms can co-exist with agriculture to support energy security and land optimization in regions with limited land availability.
8MWh×2 Dual Site Storage Deployment, Japan
Trina Storage’s Elementa 2 systems were deployed at two utility-scale sites in Japan's Gunma Prefecture, delivering 16 MWh of storage capacity. As Japan’s first high-voltage grid storage projects, both sites were commissioned in under three weeks through close collaboration between Trina Storage’s global engineering team and local specialists.
Kerarbury Farm, New South Wales
Featuring 10,000+ Trinasolar solar modules, Kerarbury Farm in Riverina is expected to generate up to 14,000 MWh of clean energy annually. This 6 MW solar farm is a strong example of utility-scale solar for the agribusiness sector, and how it can help advance the region’s decarbonization goals while powering sustainable farming operations.
