Jifan Gao

Chairman, General Manager

Mr. Gao Jifan, a native of Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Nanjing University in 1985 and a master’s degree in Physical Chemistry from Jilin University in 1988. Inspired by the Kyoto Protocol and the U.S. Million Solar Roofs Initiative, Gao Jifan founded Trinasolar in 1997.

Over the past 28+ years, Trinasolar has cemented its position as an industry leader. It was the first PV and energy storage company listed on the Shanghai STAR Market (Science and Technology Innovation Board) that integrates photovoltaic products, energy storage, system solutions, and digital energy services. Notably, the Company was named the first “Industry Shaper” for solar at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Over the years, Trinasolar received a series of prestigious awards at home and abroad.
Jiqing Gao

Deputy General Manager

Mr. Jiqing Gao joined Trinasolar in 1997 as one of its co-founders. He has served as Production Manager, Technical Quality Manager, Head of the R&D Department, Technical Director, Vice President of Capacity Expansion, Vice President of the Systems Division, and Head of the Systems Division in China.
Helena Li

Executive President

Ms. Helena Li is a highly experienced senior executive who has devoted more than ten years to solar energy development since April 2011. She became President of Trinasolar’s global solar products business in November 2022.

Helena joined Trinasolar in September 2013 as Managing Director and Vice President for Asia Pacific and the Middle East, later serving as Head of Global Module Business and Vice President of Trinasolar from 2019 through early 2022.

Trinasolar operates across the residential, commercial and industrial (C&I), and utility segments of the solar market. Helena oversees global sales, product, and marketing in all three segments and is also responsible for positioning Trinasolar as a total solutions provider for solar energy.

Before joining Trinasolar, Helena worked at U.S. semiconductor company Intel, where she built a strong technical and global marketing background. She began her career at Microsoft in 1998.
Jerry Wu

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Jerry Wu has more than 20 years of experience in finance and financial management for multinational enterprises. He joined Trinasolar in 2010 and has since served as Director of Group FP&A, Director of Investment in PV Systems, and Senior Director of PV Product Operations and Finance.

Prior to joining Trinasolar, Jerry was a Senior Consultant for ERP systems at Sage Software and Senior Finance Manager for the Asia Pacific region of the DMG Group.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from Tongji University and an EMBA from the University of Texas.
Qun Wu

Board Secretary

Mr. Qun Wu joined Trinasolar in 2014. He has served as Deputy Director of the Strategic Operations Department, Head of the Investment Management Department, and, currently, as Board Secretary of Trinasolar.

Before joining Trinasolar, he worked as a Software Engineer at Apple Southern Technology Co., Ltd. and ZTE, Senior Software Engineer at Alcatel’s mobile business division, Project Manager at Motorola (China) Electronics Co., Ltd., and Senior Investment Manager at Shanghai Pudong Technology Investment Co., Ltd.
Todd Li

President, APMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa) Region

Todd Li oversees Trinasolar’s PV module, storage, tracker and solar solution business and drives growth across the region. He is responsible for aligning regional goals with global strategies and ensuring that the team continues to expand its reach in the region to support rapidly growing demand for renewable energy.

During his tenure at Trinasolar, he successfully formulated the company’s sales and business strategy, accelerating revenue growth and expanding the company’s PV module business to Australia, India, South Korea, Israel, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the other emerging markets in Southeast Asia.

Todd joined Trinasolar in 2013 with more than 10 years of leadership and sales experience across APMEA at leading PV companies.
