Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mr Gao established Trina Solar in December 1997. He also serves as the President of the China Photovoltaic Industry Association ("CPIA") and the Co-Chairman of the Global Solar Council. Futhermore, he is the Vice President of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) and the founding member of the Private Sector Advisory Board for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
Board Director, Chief Operating Officer and President of Module Business Unit
Since January 2015 Mr Zhiguo Zhu is a member of the Board of Directors (“Board”) and Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) of Trina Solar. Throughout his tenure to date, Mr Zhu has been integral to Trina Solar’s growth in his role as Senior Vice President of the Company and president of the MBU. Prior to joining Trina Solar Mr Zhu served as the Global Finance Operations Controller, Internal Controller, Audit Director and CFO of the Air-Conditioner unit at Haier Group.
Interim Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Xu was appointed Trina Solar interim Chief Financial Officer in July 2016. She joined the Company in 2006 and has served in a number of important roles, including Finance Director, Vice President of Finance, Head of CEO Office, and Vice President and Strategy Assistant to the CEO. She has been part of Trina Solar's core management team for years and has participated in the Company's recent key development initiatives.
Chief Human Resources Officer
Ms Stephanie Yang Shao joined Trina Solar as Chief Human Resources Officer in September 2010. Prior to that she worked in multiple Fortune 500 companies in the US, including Colgate Palmolive, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Dun Bradstreet in roles of increasing responsibility in the areas of HR, Marketing and Business Development.
Head of China PV System Business Unit
Mr Jiqing Gao, Company Vice President, was appointed as the head of the China PV System Business Unit of Trina Solar in December 2015. Prior to that he served as Vice President of the PV System Business Unit and Vice President of China and Asia Pacific (excluding China), Middle East and Africa PV System Business Unit. Mr Gao has extensive experience across various departments of the company, including production, quality management, operations, and research and development.
Chief Branding Officer
Mr. Colin Yang joined the company in April, 2010. He is the Chief Branding Officer of Trina Solar and leading the branding and Public Affairs team of the company. He had twenty year diplomatic experience including his service in the Chinese Embassy in Thailand and the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco. He had over ten year experience of corporate public affairs including his service as the Director for Government Communication of Cisco Systems (China) and Vice President for Government Affairs of Siemens (China).
Head of International System Business Unit
Mr. You Hongming joined Trina Solar as President of International System Business Unit (ISBU) in January, 2016. Prior to this, he had served several well-known multinational companies and China State-Owned Enterprise, such as Shanghai Aerospace Automobile Electromechanical Co., Ltd., SAES Group of America and MW Zander of Germany.
President of Americas Region
Mr. Dorety brings rich management experience with nine years in the PV industry. Recently, he served as Vice President of Sales for JA Solar USA and was responsible for customer relations, sales, business development and operations. Previously, he was Global Director of Sales for BP Solar and responsible for worldwide module distribution. Before entering the PV industry, Mr. Dorety held a number of senior leadership positions in the telecommunications equipment and mobile wireless industries.
