Farm in Adorf
Adorf, Germany
CommercialIn Adorf, Germany, a forward-looking solar project is blending large-scale renewable energy generation with sustainable farming practices. Developed in partnership with CleanSource Construction GmbH, the new 15 MWp solar installation features Trinasolar Vertex N modules and serves a dual purpose: supplying clean energy to the grid and supporting agricultural activity through AgriPV.
A standout feature of the project is its AgriPV component. On a designated 2 MWp section of the site, cattle are free to graze beneath the elevated solar structures, allowing the land to be used simultaneously for power generation and farming. This setup exemplifies how solar development can coexist with traditional agriculture, improving land-use efficiency without compromising food production.
The energy capacity is dedicated to regular grid feed-in, helping support Germany’s renewable energy goals while maximising output from the site. With high-efficiency Vertex N modules, the project delivers excellent performance and long-term energy reliability.
This installation highlights how innovative solar designs can meet both environmental and economic needs — turning open farmland into a productive space for both energy and agriculture.
