Solar power supports education in Cerkno

A primary school in Cerkno, Slovenia, is now harnessing the power of the sun to meet its energy needs, thanks to a new rooftop solar installation featuring our Vertex S+ modules. The system, with a capacity of over 130 kW, marks an important step towards greater sustainability in the education sector.

The solar installation enables the school to cover a significant portion of its electricity consumption with renewable energy, helping to reduce operational costs and environmental impact. As future energy prices remain uncertain, this investment offers both financial and educational value, providing students with a visible example of climate-conscious infrastructure in action.
