Clarke Energy, and Trina Storage bring online Boat of Garten BESS, and partner to deliver Bramley BESS, the third project in the Temporis Capital portfolio. The three-project collaboration spans 290 MWh and showcases the evolution of Trina Storage's Elementa platform.

Trina Storage, the energy storage division of Trinasolar, is strengthening its collaboration with Clarke Energy and Temporis Capital across three UK battery energy storage projects, reflecting a growing partnership spanning project delivery, technology and long-term services.

The collaboration began with the Boat of Garten project, signed in 2024 and now connected.
This was followed by the Fraserburgh project, with energisation scheduled for 2027.
Most recently, the partners signed the Bramley project, which will deploy the latest Elementa solution and will connect to the grid in 2027.
Together, the three projects represent over 145 MW / 290 MWh of battery storage and showcase the evolution of Trina Storage's Elementa platform.

From project delivery to long-term operation

Beyond technology supply and project delivery, the collaboration extends into the long-term operation of the assets through Clarke Energy and Trina Storage's revenue-aligned LTSA capabilities.

These include dynamic maintenance scheduling designed to support tolling arrangements, providing greater flexibility on when maintenance activities are carried out, as well as advanced metering capabilities enabling multiple Capacity Market contracts within the same site.

The projects also sit within a broader strategic relationship between Trina Storage and Rehlko, through Clarke Energy. The companies have signed an MoU to collaborate in the UK market, combining Trina Storage's battery technology and lifetime warranted performance with Clarke Energy's considerable experience in delivering integrated solutions, maintaining performance and availability of the asset through life.
