The projects combine TrinaTracker's Vanguard 1P trackers and Trinasolar's Vertex N modules, demonstrating how an integrated solution can maximize energy yield, streamline project execution, and enhance long-term asset value.

TrinaTracker, the smart solar tracking business of Trinasolar, has supplied its Vanguard 1P tracking systems for Norsol's Villacé I and Villacé II photovoltaic projects in León, Spain. Combined with Trinasolar's Vertex N modules, the projects demonstrate how an integrated solution can help maximize energy production, improve project execution and deliver long-term value for utility-scale solar assets.

Developed by Norsol, Villacé I and Villacé II have a combined installed capacity of more than 20 MW and entered commercial operation in July 2026, contributing additional renewable generation capacity to Spain's expanding solar market. The projects highlight the advantages of combining advanced tracking technology with high-efficiency PV modules within a fully integrated solution designed to optimize plant performance throughout its operational lifetime.

The combination of TrinaTracker's Vanguard 1P trackers and Trinasolar's Vertex N modules was complemented by a tailored engineering approach. To address the specific characteristics of each site, TrinaTracker implemented customized tracker configurations that optimized land utilization while maintaining construction efficiency. Throughout the implementation phase, the company also worked closely with Norsol, providing engineering expertise and on-site support to help ensure smooth installation and successful project delivery. This collaborative approach helped maximize project performance while laying the foundation for reliable long-term operation.

"The integration of TrinaTracker and Trinasolar into these projects has been instrumental in achieving our performance and efficiency objectives. The integration between the tracking system and photovoltaic modules has enabled us to optimize energy production while ensuring a reliable, high-performance solution for both projects," said Raúl Martínez, Project Supervisor, Norsol.

As utility-scale solar projects continue to evolve, developers and asset owners are increasingly looking for integrated solutions that improve performance while reducing complexity. By combining market-leading tracking and module technologies with dedicated project support, TrinaTracker and Trinasolar help customers maximize energy yield, optimize operational efficiency and improve long-term project economics.

"Developers today are looking beyond individual components—they want solutions that maximize the value of their assets over the long term," said Gonzalo Baselga, Head of TrinaTracker Europe. "Villacé I and Villace II demonstrate how combining TrinaTracker's advanced tracking technology with Trinasolar's high-efficiency modules can optimize project performance while simplifying execution and supporting long-term operational success."

Spain continues to strengthen its position as one of Europe's leading solar markets, driving demand for technologies that improve project efficiency and accelerate the energy transition. Projects such as Villacé I and Villacé II reflect the growing importance of integrated solutions that combine innovation, technical expertise and reliable performance to maximize the value of renewable energy investments.
