Global smart solar solutions leader Trinasolar’s module manufacturing sites Yiwu and Yancheng have reached an important milestone in responsible supply chain governance, by achieving Silver-level certification under the Solar Stewardship Initiative (SSI) Supply Chain Traceability standard. This demonstrates that the sites have established traceability systems in line with SSI requirements.

 

Trinasolar currently implements traceability as an add-on solutions service to meet increasing customer requests into supply chain accountability.

 

This certification builds on both sites’ existing Silver-level SSI ESG Standard certification. These certifications emphasise the importance of responsible and sustainable business practices throughout supply chains across the solar power industry.

“We first implemented supply chain traceability procedures back in 2021 and participated in pilot audits for the SSI Supply Chain Traceability certification in 2024.
