Trinasolar Showcases Industry Leadership, Advanced Technology, and Live Video Series at RE+ 2025
2025.10.02

FREMONT, Calif., October 2, 2025 – In September, Trinasolar, a global leader in solar technology and energy storage solutions, featured its innovative module and energy storage solutions at RE+ 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event included the launch of upgraded solar technology, integrated storage technology, and live recordings of Trinasolar’s brand new, short-form video podcast series.

Utility-Scale, High Power and Hail-and Wind-Resistant Modules Featured

During RE+ 2025, Trinasolar showcased its advanced n-type TOPCon Vertex N modules, including hail-and-wind-resistant modules for utility-scale and commercial solar applications. Recognized by RETC as an “Overall Highest Achiever” in 2025 for manufacturing quality and field performance, Trina’s hail-resistant n-type TOPCon bifacial Shield module delivers up to 620W of power and 23% efficiency, while lowering levelized cost of energy (LCOE), shortening return on investment, and increasing durability.

“RE+ 2025 provided an invaluable opportunity for Trina to connect and collaborate with customers and partners,” said Eric Cao, Vice President of Trinasolar North American PV Business. “This year’s event underscored the industry’s resilience and Trina was proud to reinforce our commitment to advancing renewable energy during the conference. Our industry-leading modules deliver proven efficiency and durability that meet the evolving needs of today’s solar landscape.”

Trinasolar showcased the Vertex S+ n-type TOPCon hail-and-wind-resistant module, a state-of-the-art residential module with a Red Dot award-winning sleek all-black design that delivers 445W and 22.3% efficiency. Featuring high-strength 3.2mm tempered front glass and a black, reinforced aluminum frame, the residential module is optimized for +5400Pa/-5400Pa wind and withstands hailstones up to 45mm.

Visitors showed interest in Trina’s 2000V Vertex N prototype. This next-generation module recently received the world’s first UL 61730 certification for 2000V 210R cell modules. With a maximum power output of 620W and 22.7% efficiency, the 2000V design boosts string power and system performance, while reducing balance-of-system (BOS) and labor costs for utility-scale, C&I, and community solar projects.

Trinasolar also displayed the Vertex N n-type TOPCon large format module (LFM) with advanced TOPCon technology. Featuring a low-voltage, high-power design, this advanced module delivers up to 720W of power with 23.2% efficiency, reaching a new benchmark in mass-produced solar modules.

Also on display was Trinasolar’s medium-format Vertex N n-type TOPCon module. This high-performance, optimally-sized module features multi-busbar technology for enhanced light capture, reduced resistance, and superior current collection. Delivering up to 23.0% efficiency, a 620W output, and a low temperature coefficient (-0.29%/⁰C) for better performance in heat, the bifacial n-type module’s backside generation adds up to 30% more power depending on surface reflectivity.

Solar and Storage Presented Together, Highlighting Comprehensive Solution

This year, Trina brought solar modules and energy storage together, in one booth. The strategic decision underlines Trina’s focus on integrated energy systems to best support the electric grid. Trina Storage presented a full-scale immersive display of the platform. The Elementa 2 Pro Platform is a fully wrapped, cell-to-AC solution designed for the specific demands of the grid-scale energy storage market. This marks the first major exhibition of the platform following its North American launch on August 26, 2025.

Trinasolar’s Leadership in the Renewable Energy Sector

Trinasolar offered customers a unique booth experience that highlighted the company’s ongoing leadership and innovation. Trinasolar hosted four live episodes of Trina Talks, a short-form video podcast series. The live RE+ episodes featured special guests from the industry to discuss the latest insights, technologies, and strategies for the utility-scale, C&I, residential, and energy storage sectors.

At RE+ 2025, Trinasolar demonstrated its mission to accelerate the development and deployment of reliable, scalable, and innovative solar and storage technologies. Throughout the conference, Trina reaffirmed its position as an industry leader through its products and interactive booth experience that exhibited both solar and energy storage offerings.
