The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China has honored Trina Solar with the title of Decarbonisation Leader for its achievements in low-carbon transition and climate change mitigation. The company received the award at the 2023 Sustainable Business Awards conference and ceremony in Shanghai on Sept 6. The award recognises Trina Solar’s exceptional decarbonisation performance at a business operations level and is a testament to its contribution to achieving the climate ambitions set out in the Paris Agreement of 2015.</p>

Cumulative shipments of 210mm modules reached 150GW by the end of June, with Trina Solar accounting for half of that, reported TrendForce, a global market intelligence provider.</p>

<strong>WILMER, Texas, September 11, 2023</strong>&nbsp;– Trina Solar, a global leader in smart solar products and solutions, has announced it will build a more than 1 million square foot solar photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing facility in Wilmer, Texas. The company is investing more than $200 million in property and equipment. When completed, the facility will provide 1,500 local jobs, produce 5 GW of modules and source polysilicon from the United States and Europe.&nbsp;</p>

Trina Solar has begun to supply Vertex N 700W+ series modules to the 560MW PV power station in the Qinghai province of Xinghai County.&nbsp;The power station is expected to be commissioned by the end of this year, with an average annual energy yield of about 1.077 billion kWh.</p>

Trina Solar has yet again extended its international footprint with the production of 210mm monocrystalline silicon wafers in Vietnam. The first wafers rolled off the factory's production line in the city of&nbsp;Thai Nguyen, 80 kilometers north of Hanoi, on August 23^rd. The factory will be able to produce 6.5GW of wafer&nbsp;annually. With this new capacity, Trina Solar will have greater flexibility in being able to deliver its products worldwide.</p>
