Trina Solar Chairman and CEO Jifan Gao will attend the 48th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting from January 23rd to 26th in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland. The programme, initiatives and projects of the meeting are focused on Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World this year. As a key speaker, Gao will join a panel discussion at the session of “A New Era for Energy Politics”, and will participate in various sessions including global cooperation, energy transformation, Belt and Road Initiative, combating climate change, China in the new era, etc. Trina Solar has been proactively engaged in the World Economic Forum for the eighth year since it was named by the forum as the first global solar industry shaper in 2010.

Gao pointed out that the theme of “Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World” this year well represented the current position and needs of the transformation of global energy structure. The energy transformation is imminent, and solar energy will be a strong power to contribute to the new economy era of clean energy.
