2025: A Milestone Year of Growth, Safety Advancements, and Global Progress for Trina Storage
Leading with Innovation and Engineering Excellence

The Elementa 2 Pro continued to make headlines, receiving UL 1973, IEC 62619, UN38.3, UL 9540A, and other major global certifications. Together, these certifications demonstrate that the Elementa 2 Pro Platform meets the highest international safety and transportability standards across its battery cells, modules, and overall system. It also became the first energy storage system in the world to earn a 20-year Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), a landmark sustainability milestone. By analyzing the product's environmental impact across its entire lifecycle, from raw materials and manufacturing to use and end-of-life, the platform proves Trina Storage's commitment to transparency, eco-design, and long-term environmental responsibility.

Beyond BNEF, Trina Storage was also recognized in S&P Global Energy's 2025 Energy Storage System Integrator Report ranking, securing positions at both the global level and across multiple key regional markets. This further reflects the company's growing international footprint, project delivery track record, and increasing acceptance among leading developers and financiers worldwide.
In 2025, Trina Storage also retained its top position in the BNEF Bankability Survey, reinforcing confidence among investors, developers, and EPC's seeking long-term project viability and performance.

In North America, the company strengthened its strategic partnership with Lightshift Energy, with both parties committed to jointly delivering over 1 GWh of energy storage projects in the coming years. In parallel, Trina Storage partnered with FlexGen on projects in California, combining best-in-class hardware and software to support load growth, renewable integration, and peak demand management.
In Europe, Trina Storage continued to build a solid foundation across core energy storage markets. The company has delivered and is constructing over 50 projects across the UK, Germany, Greece, and Eastern Europe, with a total installed and under-construction capacity exceeding 4 GWh, reflecting strong local execution capabilities and market adaptability.
Beyond Europe and North America, Trina Storage achieved further milestones globally. In Latin America, the company shipped a 1.2 GWh single-site energy storage project in Chile, setting a regional benchmark. In the Middle East and Africa, the Abydos 300 MWh solar-plus-storage project in Egypt was successfully grid-connected in July, standing as one of the largest single-site hybrid projects in Africa. Across the Asia-Pacific region (excluding China), utility-scale projects under construction have surpassed 2.4 GWh, spanning key markets including Australia, Japan, Southeast Asia, and South Asia.

Built on medium-voltage testing, full-system environmental validation, and 1:1 hardware-in-the-loop EMS simulation, this integrated framework enables pre-commissioning and system-level verification before shipment, improving delivery predictability and shortening project acceptance timelines. Complemented by local AC integration and testing capabilities in North America and Europe, Trina Storage ensures each system is fully validated to meet regional grid and compliance requirements.
