Munich, Nov 18, 2025 – Trina Storage, the global leading energy storage solution provider, today announced the launch of Elementa Electra, an advanced integrated battery-to-grid energy storage solution designed for large-scale renewable and storage applications. As an AC-coupled BESS solution, Elementa Electra integrates the battery system with an AC-side unit that combines power conversion and medium-voltage step-up functions — enabling efficient power conversion, more coordinated performance between DC and AC subsystems and streamlined grid connection.

Built on Trina Storage’s vertical and horizontal integration capabilities - spanning in-house cell R&D, system-level integration, and localized engineering and services, Elementa Electra further strengthens the company’s full-stack approach to energy storage. By pairing the long-duration battery cabinet with the integrated AC-side power conversion unit, Elementa Electra provides high-energy density, long lifecycle performance, optimized DC-side design, and grid-forming AC-side functionality in a seamless, deployment-ready platform optimized for operational value.

Rapid Delivery

With 25 GWh of annual system production capacity across two manufacturing bases, Trina Storage delivers factory-tested, pre-commissioned systems that reduce site work and accelerate deployment. Elementa Electra is optimized for whole-unit transportation, which significantly reduces logistics costs. The compact side-by-side/back-to-back station layout reduces required land area by up to 52%, while factory pre-commissioning cuts on-site commissioning time by more than 50%, shortening overall delivery cycles by over 30%, helping customers achieve earlier grid connection and faster revenue realization.

 

Superior After-Sales Service

Supported by four R&D centers and global integration & engineering centers, Trina Storage has established a comprehensive service network, providing customized full lifecycle services from project consultation and design to installation, operation, and maintenance. Paired with an AI fault monitoring system, it enables 24/7 risk warning and digital-intelligent collaborative after-sales support.

In addition, Elementa Electra is actively undergoing comprehensive certification processes to meet the cybersecurity and grid-connection requirements of major markets, including compliance with Europe’s leading network and information security regulations.
