Adhering to the AI governance principles of safety, trustworthiness, transparency and sustainability, the Company continues to strengthen its responsible AI management system across AI application scenarios, including digital operations, smart manufacturing, supply chain management, customer service, and research and development, promoting the safe, compliant and responsible use of AI technologies.
The Company has established an AI governance framework covering management systems, processes, technical controls, and oversight mechanisms. In applying AI technologies, the Company follows the principle that human decision-making remains primary, with AI serving as an assistive tool. For key application scenarios involving customers, employees, partners, and significant business decisions, the Company maintains mechanisms for human review and intervention, clearly defines the applicable scope and authority of AI systems, and ensures that AI does not independently make critical business decisions.
With regard to data governance, the Company strictly implements applicable requirements for data security and personal data protection. Training and operational data are managed through classification and tiered controls, with access to sensitive data restricted based on business needs. For sensitive AI capabilities, such as visual recognition and video surveillance, the Company applies authorization and approval procedures and the principle of least privilege to control access and use. The Company also requires relevant suppliers to comply with its information security and data protection requirements.
With regard to model governance, the Company is continuously establishing a full lifecycle management mechanism for AI models. The Company conducts ongoing operational monitoring of deployed models, and regularly assesses their accuracy, stability, fairness and potential bias. It also monitors for and promptly identifies model drift, performance degradation, and other abnormal risks. Where issues are identified, the Company takes corrective measures, including model optimization and human review, to continuously improve the quality, reliability, and responsible use of AI applications.
With regard to AI transparency, the Company appropriately labels AI-generated content and key analytical outputs produced with AI assistance, where applicable. For significant AI-driven decisions or outcomes that may affect the interests of customers, partners, or other stakeholders, the Company has established communication, feedback, and appeal channels through which relevant parties can raise questions or objections and request human review.
In terms of green and low-carbon initiatives, the Company actively promotes the development of green computing infrastructure, prioritizing data centers and cloud computing resources with high energy efficiency. In selecting AI service providers, the Company encourages consideration of factors including the use of renewable or low-carbon energy, energy-efficiency and emissions-reduction capabilities, and environmental management system certification, reducing the energy consumption and associated carbon emissions of AI applications while supporting business development. The Company actively explores opportunities to apply AI to photovoltaic manufacturing, intelligent operations and maintenance, energy management, and supply chain optimization, thereby improving resource utilization efficiency and supporting the achievement of the Company’s sustainable development goals.
The Company continues to provide employees with training on AI ethics, safety and compliance, and information security to strengthen their awareness of responsible AI principles and their ability to use AI tools appropriately and securely. Looking ahead, the Company will continue to refine its AI governance framework, actively monitor developments in international AI governance regulations, standards, and best practices, and, at an appropriate stage, work toward establishing an AI management system and pursuing external certification, such as ISO/IEC 42001. Through continuous improvement, the Company aims to strengthen its AI governance capabilities and further integrate responsible AI principles into its ESG management practices.
